In 2012, Luis Seabra left his prestigious position making wine at Niepoort to produce wines on his own. After so many years doing what he loves for others, he decided to start doing it for himself. The philosophy is encapsulated in the Cru brand.

The vines are between 70 and 80 years old and the farming is completely chemical-free, the wine is made with purity in mind. Seabra's goal is to make wines from specific vineyards with minimal intervention, raw and pure wines.
