A company with well-established roots in the Douro Region, 1912 Winemakers does not leave credits in the hands of others. With a blend of passion, respect for terroir and a love for great wines, the brothers António and Edmar Monteiro dedicate themselves to their century-old art with the dignity that would certainly be proud of the generations that preceded them. This 2011 after a long aging in barrel and bottle, presents an intense opaque ruby color, with complex aromas of wild black fruits, jam, tobacco, spices, balsamic, light dark chocolate notes with a perfect integration with the wood stand out . In the mouth it is a wine with great acidity and volume, full-bodied and with a long aftertaste. Suggested for structured and spicy dishes or even for wine lovers who loves storage potential.
