The name Quinta do Noval first appeared in records from 1715. The history of Quinta do Noval is marked by the actions of António José da Silva, a visionary and port operator, who acquired Quinta do Noval in 1894, after it was devastated by phylloxera.

Noval 20-year-old Tawny Port has an amber colour with golden highlights. This Port is extremely pure, has an unwavering nobility and is perfectly balanced. Everything it has acquired during its ageing in oak casks is perfectly integrated here, with a very complex range of aromas that include dried fruits such as almonds and walnuts, cherries in brandy and notes of salted caramel.
