Quinta do Convento was established in the 12th century by the Cistercian monks. Since then, this Quinta has been linked to the production of grapes and wines. Quinta do Convento Red wine is made with the traditional Douro grape varieties, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca.
