With long and pointed wings, divided tail and long feathers, an agile and grazing flight - it’s the spring icon!

The sky fills with movement and aerial acrobatics and the nests that were left in the winter are occupied again by the swallows with theirs incessant noise.

A figure beloved by the Portuguese and symbolically placed on the facades of the houses of those who miss the migrants or simply wait for them the next spring.  

Some additional information and special care:

Do not wash under water or in the washing machine. If necessary, clean the dust with a dry cloth.
Apply mineral oil to the wood from time to time to prevent it from drying out and cracking.
