Your Couples Slow Afternoon begins the moment you arrive at the Six Senses Douro Valley Spa, one of Portugal's most celebrated wellness destinations. Robes on, the world outside disappears. Together you are guided through a full water circuit: the heated indoor pool with floor-to-ceiling views aover the forest, the hydrotherapy jets for legs and lower back, the cold plunge pool at 8 degrees C, the vitality poo that dissolves tension you didn't know you were carrying.

When the water has done its work, you are shown to your private couples treatment suite. Your therapists, trained in both signature Six Senses techniques and locally inspired Douro Valley practices, will have designed a personalised massage specifically for the two of you. Not a generic couples package. A treatment built around what your bodies and minds actually need that day.

The afternoon closes slowly, the way all afternoons in the Douro should. No rushing, no agenda, nothing but the valley and the warmth of being properly looked after.

All services are subject to availability and require advance reservation.

The voucher includes access to the Spa indoor pool, featuring a hot tub, cold plunge pool, massage jets, an underwater sound system, chromotherapy, and the vitality suite, where the saunas are located. This voucher does not include access to the outdoor pools.
